Mission Statement

Lutheran Family Services, an extended arm of the Lutheran Congregations, exists to grow families and build communities by providing services to adults and children that increase the quality of their lives.

Have you ever wished that your kid came with an instruction manual?

Whether you are struggling with the terrible twos or in the midst of teen angst, Power Parenting will provide you with the tools to understand and influence your child’s behavior.  The workshop covers topics ranging from typical vs. atypical behavior and appropriate discipline to managing anger and response when your child pushes that button once too often.  Additionally, Power Parenting will also address subjects such as communication with your children and parenting what you preach.    Please join us as we begin to build the instruction manual that we wish we were given as we left the hospital with our bundle of joy.

The Power Parenting Dream Team

Our team of experienced professionals will transform you into a power parent in no time. By participating in the workshop you will have the opportunity to learn from these top child, adolescent and parenting professionals.
